you can put a 97-01 yzf gas tank, 99-02 seats & compl, ete tail section on with only a few hours of work with a dremil & drill. As far as biggest tire- I had a bridgestone battleaxe 160/55/18 on the rear. Greastest tire ever! No problems even at speeds of 144mph! I also had a 120/70/17 frony donlop 208gp. Great combo! Performace frnt, and sport/tour rear works great! I had also bouilt a custom mold to make a one piece fiberglass body for the FZR600. If there are any glassers out there that want to buy it, let me know (joe_26_ca@yahoo.com) I was in a head on accident a week ago, and my bike went to heaven. |

What size tire do you have on your bike? Do you know how big of a rear tire you can mount on one? |

I just bought a 1994 FZR 600. Would a newer tail section fit on it? If so, where would I find one. Also, is there any way to change it from a dual headlight to a single? I would like to change the nose piece too. Does anyone know how to find out about making these modifications? |

also, if it has the single offset headlight, it's the airtech fzr r1 front end. great bike though, someone put a lot of time into that. |

for the record, i've avidly researched the r6 tail end, and it can be done, but it requires reshaping the tail-frame, and a lot of metal-cutting. You'll need a good saw and one hell of a power-sander to get everything done, but you can do it in an afternoon. |

Anyone know where the front comes from, having a hard time finding mirrors to sit on it right so i can actually see out of them? |

Im pretty sure the r6 tails fit right on from what I heard... |

nice bike..i have a 94 fzr 600..do u have to get a special kit to make the r6 tail fit? or do i just buy the tail and screw it on |

I havent ridden to many bikes so I dont have much to compare it to, but it rides nice, good throttle response and sounds nice, thanks Fzr kid for letting me know abouthte tail, and i wasnt to sure about the bends in the exhaust or why it was done but It was the nicest bike I saw in my town that ran good and I hear alot good about the Fzr |

the tail is a 99-02 R6 tail, so are the seats. the pipe is ugly and all them bents will make u loose HP. get a V&H pipe or D&D. hopes that frame is chomed cuz if is ploished steel rusts! |

Ah, single...I kinda like the double heads, but I wasnt sure if 91's had it. I know Airtech makes a whole kit to replicate a 96' fzr1's. Either way, they are definately so much better looking with the sleak tail. Ridden it yet? Hows it ride? (Im part looking into one currently that has the 96'fzr1 kit. In Pittsford NY, I have yet to see it though =0/...first bike too?) |
