This is the perfect bike for me.
What a bike!! the fuel range is the only 'dark side'.
I'am really happy with it and will drive it as long as i can.

I have an 85 V 1200 as well. Oh lordy, I just had to test out the 6rpm 'feature' and it gave me a bit of a scare but a thrilling one lol. I am also looking for a R turn signal(blew off my bike on the xpressway) and the R Mirror(which my husband dropped it and whoops, there it went). Is there anything universal out there? |

I have a 85 GV 1200 with 50,000 miles. Its been a great bike, but I think I will sell it soon because I will return to the US. The Madura and I are in Germany now. |

I have had mine for years,got it after my '77 gs 550..nothing can catch this, nothing corners like this,i can go hard in the corners and this just hangs in there..I'll be keeping it for at least another 15 years..Chicks say it rides better than a Harley... |

The most fun I have evr had on a high horsepower cruiser. IMHO, the exhaust tone of the 1200 Madura has never been replicated, and at full throttle, sounds incredible! |

I bought a suzuki 1200 madura new in 1986 I have ridden this motorcycle all over the United States from Alaska to Mexico, it performed flawlessly, I have very few complaints about this bike which the biggest would be the fuel range, and there is a lot to be desired for a better frame. But over all this is without a doubt 1 of the very finest motorcycles to ever roll out of any manufacturer, eat your heart out Harley Davidson |

Fastest production bike in 1985.
If you use the available horse power you will be replacing the rear spokes every 10,000 miles. I had (heavier) custom spokes made and re-laced the rear end.
I dont recommend this bike for guys under 30 years old. |
