I like some of the mods you have made (5-spokes & rear brake caliper) but not sure about the headlight arrangement. I would prefer to se a bit fat number 9 for Falappa!! I too have a '94 888 but sadly it doesn't get used as much as i'd like. |

R6??? Oh Puhleeese. For the record there are a few smarting R1 owners who avoid me in Naples. Red Bull mechanics are pretty good, evidently. Modified ZX10? You're welcome to it. Come to think of it, where are they in the WSB championship? Suzi's are first (for now). Kwak's? Um, well, they're beating the Petronas. But at the end of the day, who cares about a few mph here or there. The whole thing is about riding, and being part of a brotherhood. Keep the racing for the track, or you'll be going home in a bucket - if you're lucky. |

those engines as well as the new duck engines are amazing. these are true racing machines. I would like to see any jap made stock r6 keep its top speed for atleast an hour. I guarantee you you would fry it. the duck is in it for the long haul. thats the difference between italian and all those other engineers. the same goes for jap and american automobiles. to me Ducati is the ferrari of motorcycles. All Around one of the best bike producers. |

wanted to make a point about the stickers.....wow Scooter and R6, you guys are tards...the 916 was not the first ducati superbike...niether was this the 888 was the second after the 851, then 916,996,998,999, etc...So he's no being a posuer at all. Actuallyt you could deal with a little history if you wanna come talking bikes. Oh and as for you killing him on your R6...I somehow think not, this is not a bike a novice would pick up(not sayings it's wicked fast anymore) but i am saying for someone to be interested in this bike they must have a longer history of ducati's and racing for that matter, so I think you be given a R1 and on nice twisty lane, that dinosuars ass would be the last thing you ever saw as you lost it in a tight turn.

I have an 888sp4 and a zx6r. they both deliver about the same horsepower. The difference is that the sp4 feels like a pure breed stallion and the zx like a mule...you can trust. It's like women. Italians are beautiful with a combination of brio and excitement. the japanese are geishas |

makes any jap 600 look totally lame I've had plenty of jap 600's there all good but they don't have the presance or quality of Italian bikes. |

Remember, this is a 1994. Back then, this bike was the shiznit....way ahead of its time. By today's standards, it's not as impressive, but still able to hold its own against any jap 600. These things were limited production SUPERBIKE replika bikes...they only made roughly 300 of them and only in 1994. They made about 106rwhp but had the torque of the 900 motor. Very well balanced and light for it's size. If you want to compare the 888 to a jap 600...take any jap 600 in 1994 and see how they compare. Hell, even the jap 900's! This bike is over 10 years old...but in its day it was the "999R" that we hold in such high esteem today. |

ducati makes the fu(king nicest bikes in the world. my only wish is that they started thinking a bit more about giving them some speed if mv agusta and ducati joined up and made a bike i bet it would make all the japanese manufacturers bankrupt. |
