Nah, got a jacket and gloves, not a fan of the pants, mostly just commuting to work and all, but better safe than sorry I suppose.

My friend? Well more of an acquaintance had an SV1000. It was cool till he crashed it within the first week of ownership. He didn't wear a helmet either. He's still alive but not riding anymore. Nice ride though. Keep the shiny side up. |
