Weight about 223kg, same as the VFR750 of the time. Like the VFR it hides its weight well as the mass of the V4 is carried low. Bodywork is all carbon fibre and the tank is aluminium so the top-heavy look (mainly caused by the long tail) is not actually how it is - in fact it's physically smaller than a VFR750. |

This is the bike Ducati pinched their idears for the 916. Note the single sided swing arm, the under seat exhausts,the headlamp design.Copied bit they did improve those idears. |

I was lucky enough to be allowed to ride one of these bikes and I can tell you all that they MOVE! I was on the honda test circut at the time and doing a piece for a motor cycling magazine about the famed NR750, it is an experience I will never forget. It's just such a pity that the few they made were too over priced and that is why they didn't sell.......now with today's technology should honda give it another go? and re work the NR750 for today? what do you all think? email me at mysite13@hotmail.com in english please and I will pass on your thought's to honda!
