no go yz80

[:]HAMMER[/:][:]HAMMER[/:][:]CENSORED[/:][:]BANGHEAD[/:][:]NUT[/:][:]}:-(([/:][:]CENSORED[/:] I have just bought a yz80 1986 for my son, it has been rebuilt by previous owner and wouldn't start, I found the earth wire contacting the coil wire and moved it away to a new position, I get a very weak intermitent spark now and was wondering if the coil has sh*t itself and need a newbie or if ir may be something else.

make sure the gas is on, and the plug is clean, with a good plug wire, and try push starting it in 2nd or 3rd gear if that dont work then try the coil. Or hang on till Nextmick sees this post he will know what to do. Gool luck. Thats a cool dad who gets his kid a yz80[:]THUMBSUP[/:]
