Default The OCC Ducati!!

I don't know how many of you are into OCC, but they partnered with Ducati and opened up a dealer last month. They did this for their 10th anniversary as a milestone thing. To kick off the dealership they were contracted to build a bike in vision with the black suit from Spiderman 3.

Orange County Choppers Opens Ducati Dealership - autoevolution

I used to watch the tv show religiously and haven't for the last couple of years. I ended up starting it again with this season that started about a month ago. More power to them. Many have tried and failed miserably. They jumped on the chopper wagon when it was fresh and they are still riding it very strongly. Opening up this Ducati dealership will boost them higher into sales and will also open up their sale base to something other than just choppers. In an economy like we have right now, it was a bold move, hopefully it will work out for them.

That being said, it isn't sitting to well from what I have read on some ducati forums. Oh well, I have yet to see a legitimate excuse as to why they shouldn't be selling them. I understand some people are pissed, but really, who cares? Does it affect them that OCC has a Ducati dealer? Not that I can see. It seems to be one more thing to whine about. I am sure there are much worse things that could have happened. Honestly, reading the resposes to it on the Ducati forum is about as bad as reading 90% of the whiney childish crap on the Civic forums. Like I said, no real legitimate excuse as to why they are pissed.

Pics of the bike. I am not a huge fan, but some of the aspects are cool and some are a little over the top like always with their custom bikes.

What I don't understand is they blacked out, replaced with carbon fiber, or powder coated pretty much everything except for the ring that goes across the headlight? I would have powdered that to match.

On the OCC note, I found it funny that Paul Jr. isn't on their 10th anniversary poster and he wasn't even asked to be involved with the 10th anniversary bike. For those that don't know, Sr. fired him a while back and now only has him "consult" on bikes from time to time. Right now Jr. is trying to start his own design company. Said he wants to move away from OCC. Seems like OCC moved away from him long ago.

That's a nice looking Monster.

All the Ducati fags can cry and whine all you want, just like the leatherfags that bitch about sport bikes, and the rest of you homos always bashing HD for no good reason.

HD and Ducati go together like beans and rice. They're both overrated, over priced boutique makes that run twins, whose customer base is ridiculously loyal to their heritage. I dearly love both companies, and it makes all the sense in the world for non HD affiliated leatherfags to sell Ducatis.

Harley guys LIKE loud, twin sportbikes. They get a boner from the SV. Apparently the old man figured that out (or someone told him) and he's willing to make money off that fact.

I have absolutely no sympathy for Duc snobs who feel their precious pedigree is soiled by our filthy American Mud-blood. Until recently a US holdings company owned Ducati, the head of Ducati welcomed a HD partnership last time they were looking for someone to bail them out (for the reasons I stated) and as a matter of fact, the current Ducati head of projects or COO or whateverthefack his title is, is an American, and is almost single handedly responsible for the 1098 and Ducati's current resurgence.

So all you Duc snobs need to bone up on your history and STFU.

Screw you if you don't like it Anson.

The exhaust looks like an afterthought, the tail section looks like a camel, the front fairing matches the tail section, I hate cob webs and OCC is a joke.

Thankyou.

That is NOT a good looking Duc. Personally I think the old man was smart for opening a dealership to sell something else. Help pay for the huge square footage they got there. That Monster is still hideous. Bolt on ludicrious rear cowl is massively oversized(the front fairing is stock Ratbike). The webs on it are completely out of place, like import tuner stickers on Ferrari. As to the exhaust, I haven't seen a good solution to the exhaust routing so far from any aftermarket co.

So that must be where they drew their inspiration for the tail.

The clutch cover is pretty sweet. That is my favorite part on the bike other than the tires.

I think the dealership is a great place to throw money away. I like some duc's and I like some HD's I don't much like the stereotypical rider of either brand. Same with the Concourse riders, Goldwing riders, KLR650 rider, or BMW riders. Hell, I just hate everyone I guess. I don't like the bike they designed but used to watch the show, with the wife, when we had cable. Anson, the Darker pic kicks @ss!!!!

Oh, I forget the Spyder riders...They suck too!
